Practice Makes Permanent, Consistency is King

In this post, I would like to address the unsung hero of the gym: Consistency.

When it comes right down to it, most people head to the gym because they want to see a change somewhere in their life. Whether it is health, aesthetics, stress relief, or community that brings you to the box, the one thing that ties together any and all progress is showing up day after day after day; rain or shine.

Any time you work out, your body undergoes some pretty amazing changes. Some changes are temporary, while others lead to drastic, often positive results. We are talking resistance to fatigue, increased bone density, improved sleep, improved focus, and so on. In order for those changes to come about, you need to be giving your body as many chances as (reasonably) possible to improve.

Now that doesn’t mean turn into a gym bro and have your life revolve around coming to the gym every day. What we are really looking for is a constant, manageable flow of visits to the box that will allow your mind and body to maintain a cycle of positive growth while not detracting from the rest of your life too much.

Remember, all you need to do is show up. And then show up again. And then the next week. If you can make it to the gym, our coaches will help you take care of the rest.

I’ll see you on the floor, Transform.
