Coach/Personal Trainer
I first got into fitness because I knew I was thin and wanted to be stronger than who I was. It took a big push from a manager at a previous job to get me started, but once I began working out at Transform, things just stuck. Later, during COVID, Transform’s owner, Jaime, offered me a coaching position if I got certified—and that opportunity is what set me on this path. I didn’t grow up playing sports—just the usual activities most kids try—but over time I developed a real appreciation for movement and progression.
As a coach, I’d describe myself as laid-back but highly technical. My focus is always on helping people have fun while safely progressing toward their goals. I’m not the kind of coach who yells or pushes you to the edge every day—I’m here to help you enjoy the process and move well while you get stronger.
My biggest challenge has always been consistency. I’ve spent a lot of time chasing different goals and getting distracted along the way, which often held me back from making real progress. Over time, I’ve learned that success doesn’t come from intensity or talent—it comes from building systems that make steady progress possible. That lesson is something I try to pass on to every person I coach.
I coach because it’s fun. The people, the conversations, and the sense of community make it worth showing up every day. Coaching also keeps me motivated and accountable in my own fitness. Every client is like a new puzzle—everyone moves differently and learns differently, and there’s a lot of satisfaction in helping them figure out what works best for them.
