Who doesn't love a good chicken nugget?
We're constantly trying to turn our favorite meals or "comfort food" into a healthier alternative. Here's our go-to version for the chicken nugget with a paleo-ish twist. We highly recommend pairing this with some tasty coconut rice.
1/4 cup arrowroot
2 tbsp coconut crystals
1/2 cup almond flour
1.5 tsp pepper
0.5 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
- Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl
- Beat the egg separately in a different bowl
- Prep and pat chicken dry (use can use wings, thighs, tenders, etc.)
- Dip chicken in egg followed by the dry ingredients
- Fry in a pan on medium-high heat until crisp and enjoy!
